Greetings farmers! Today I am happy to be launching a pack of Ford 40 Series tractors for FS15, these are mostly the same classic tractors from FS13, only re-built and re-defined for the FS15 engine.
I would like to send my thanks to Mythos and the ARM Team for creating these amazing 3D models and the hard work and level of detail they apply to all of their mods.
I would like to thank the ARM Team for allowing us to freely modify and re-distribute their work.

~Back-Story~
Back in the late 1980’s Ford New Holland Inc were going through the stages of finding a replacement for their widely popular 10 Series tractors, 2 separate programs – codenamed “P358” and ‘Genesis’ were initiated, P358 was to determine the design of this new machine and Genesis
was the first complete re-design of the Ford Diesel Power-plant since the 1960’s, designed to be efficient and powerful, they would carry Ford New Holland into the 21st Century.
The result of these 2 programs was the 40 Series generation of tractors, which were nearing completion in 1991 at the time of an imminent merger with Fiat.
Many were shocked to find that Fiat had swiftly acquired an 80% share of Ford New Holland Inc, the two companies were then merged to form NH Geotech, and then later in 1999 merged again with Case IH to form CNH Global.
The Fiat takeover in 1991 hardly affected the 40 series development, they were launched shortly after in the UK, built at the Basildon Plant in England, the range consisted of 6 models, three 4 cylinder: (5640 @ 75hp, 6640 @ 85hp, 7740 @ 95hp) and three 6 cylinder tractors: (7840 @ 100hp, 8240 @110hp, 8340 @ 120hp).
Three tiers of gearboxes were available – ranging from the basic ’S’ configuration to the more intricate SL and SLE transmissions, various configurations and customisations were available to cater to the farmer’s every need.

My pack of tractors were re-tweaked cosmetically and launched in 1993 with the introduction of the Blue New Holland ‘Leaf’ logo and the Grey chassis now commonplace across the range. The 8340 also gained a small horsepower boost.
